Creative Engineering
In this project we were tasked with the idea that we must make a object that could help or save others. Even if it was just a simple task such as personal hygiene problems.
For our creative engineering project we decided that we would make a way to improve the car that would be able to go onto any vehicle. Since most vehicles do not use gasoline we decided to fix aerodynamics. So we wanted to make a detachable wheel cover that would fit with neodymium magnets to the inside of your car.

DESIGN CYCLE
When figuring out what to make to help others we immediately new we were going to be helping improve cars. When we first were deciding what to help we researched a lot of things from different fuel sources, to changing the basic frame and its materials. When we started talking about aerodynamics to help all cars we decided it should have to help without lowering safety ratings. this would make us get rid of that and look towards something attachable to give people options. We then thought of the wheel cover which would cover the back wheels and connect with neodymium magnets to the inside of the car.
1.Identify the need-A way to improve aerodynamics to make a car with better mpg.
2.Research the Problem-Most cars have horrible mpg especially older ones
3.Develop possible solutions-new fuel,improve frame, aerodynamics
4.Select the most promising solution-improving aerodynamics
5.Construct a prototype- We made a clay prototype with neodymium magnets attached to it. it was a 1 to 1 scale
6.Test and evaluate the prototype- works as needed
7.Communicate the design- We had a presentation with pictures
8.Redesign-none needed
HOW IT WORKS
When using this it will improve aerodynamics by make the air blow across instead of into and under the car creating drag.

Reflection:
When looking back on this I really think me and my team worked together to get to our final goal without arguing. I even gained some very useful skills such as how to use a model design on a computer. We were able to make a simulation of it too. I also learned how to communicate better with others. I learned over time i tried to control to much so I learned to lay off and just let things happen.
MY TWO PEAKS:
-Finishing the project
